Omni Sensations Facial Treatment

It’s a perfect time of year to treat yourself. KCR writer Ioulia Zoukova experienced the new OMNI SENSATIONS Facial Treatment at EF Medispa – a non-invasive facial using OMNI Skincare, alongside needle-free Carboxy Therapy, CO2 and Cryo to leave the skin feeling energised and strengthened.

Formulated by Esther Fieldglass, Founder of EF Medispa, this treatment uses products from her NEW OMNI Skincare range. It’s designed for those experiencing change in the skin, whether that be seasonal shifts or hormone issues, this treatment is tailored to each individual, providing everything your skin needs to look bright and radiant, alongside calming, balanced and energised.

I arrived at the Spa, located very conveniently on High Street Kensington on an extremely freezing December afternoon. I’m not usually one for visiting fancy salons and spas, especially for what seems like quite an intimidating treatment called Carboxy Therapy. However, when I stepped into the warm and home-like spa lounge, all my worries were eased away. I was taken through what the treatment was all about and what to expect.

With a relaxing tune playing in the background, my treatment began. The OMNI treatment begins by gently waking up the skin with the tingle of activating enzymes and the warmth of needle-free Carboxy Therapy Mask to boost skin metabolism and reoxygenate.

Then, a high-pressure CO2 and Hyaluronic Acid is blasted into the skin. This sounds more intense and daunting than it was in practice, I promise! It really just felt like some cold air on my face. This process leads to the regeneration of the skin’s nutrient supply and it also activates the blood micro-circulation and induces collagen and elastin.

My favourite step was the Cryo Lymphatic Drainage. This is applied using Cryo Balls to cool, calm and detoxify the skin, further support blood circulation, tighten, smooth and stimulate cell renewal, leaving the skin with a healthy glow. The treatment was concluded with a light moisturising serum to further moisturise the skin and add UV protection.

Following a short consultation, my therapist then recommended me some products that suited my skin more specifically. She asked me about my skin routine (which, I was embarrassed to admit is very minimal) and proposed that I try a couple of products to replace ones that I already use. This way there are no extra steps added to my short routine, but I will be using products more suited for my skin.

Having left the spa to bear the freezing wind again, I felt like I’d just returned from a little holiday. I came out smelling of floral moisturisers with a lovely refreshed feeling, almost as though it is summer. Almost!

How the treatment works:

STEP 1:

The OMNI treatment begins by gently waking up the skin with the tingle of activating enzymes and the warmth of needle-free Carboxy Therapy Mask to boost skin metabolism and reoxygenate.

STEP 2:

Skin is blasted with high-pressure CO2 combined with cold that drives Hyaluronic Acid deep into the skin. Vasoconstriction followed by vasodilation leads to the regeneration of the skin’s nutrient supply. This high-pressure combination also activates the blood micro-circulation and induces collagen and elastin by causing a Thermal Shock of the underlying tissue.

STEP 3:

Cryo Lymphatic Drainage is then applied via Cryo Balls to cool, calm and detoxify the skin, further support blood circulation, tighten, smooth and stimulate cell renewal, leaving the skin with a healthy glow.
